Kubotique began not as a business plan, but as a dream.

Like many people, we spent years working hard and imagining what life might look like if we could slow down and enjoy it while we were still healthy, active, and able to appreciate the simple pleasures of life. Rather than waiting for retirement to someday arrive, we decided to create a lifestyle that would allow us to enjoy each day a little more.

We fell in love with Bucana Beach and its peaceful way of life. Unlike the busier parts of El Nido, Bucana offered something we felt was becoming increasingly rare—a genuine sense of community, beautiful natural surroundings, and a slower pace that encouraged people to reconnect with what truly matters.

The idea for Kubotique was simple. We wanted to build a small beachfront retreat that would be easy to manage, allowing us to spend our days doing something we genuinely enjoy: welcoming guests, sharing the beauty of Bucana, and creating memorable experiences for travelers from around the world.

Travel has always been one of our greatest passions. We have always loved discovering new places, learning about different cultures, and meeting people from all walks of life. Through Kubotique, we found a beautiful way to continue that passion.

Today, instead of traveling the world to meet people, the world comes to us.

One of the greatest joys of hosting is the opportunity to connect with guests from different countries, hear their stories, learn about their cultures, and share a little piece of our own. Many guests arrive as visitors and leave as friends, and those connections have become one of the most rewarding parts of our journey.

Kubotique was never meant to be a large resort or a commercial enterprise. It was created as a place where people could feel comfortable, enjoy their privacy, and experience genuine hospitality in a beautiful beachfront setting.
